Feelings change

Rouge was at her balcony, looking up at the dull clouds. ‘I have all of the precious jewels, but I feel as if I want something else…’ she thought. All of a sudden, she heard someone knocking on her door.

‘Who could it be?’ she thought. She opened the door, and noticed Shadow, smirking. “Hey Rouge” he said. “Can I come in?”  Rouge had no other option, since they were allies, so she just responded with a “Sure”. As he entered, she shut the door, and sat on the couch, casually.

“So, what’s up?” she asked the black hedgehog. “Nothing really,” he said, “but I just wanted to check up on ya” he said. Rouge blushed. “Thanks” she said. “No problem, ally” he said as he winked at the white bat.

Rouge began to blush more, and started to look away. Shadow didn’t know what was making her feel like that, so he placed his hand on her cheek, and turned her around, facing him. “What’s wrong, ally?” he asked the bat.

“Nothing” she insisted. Shadow knew she was lying, and Rouge knew Shadow didn’t believe her. “Please, tell me what’s wrong, Rouge” he persuaded. “Ok” Rouge said.

“So, what’s making you blush?” he asked the bat. “I don’t know, Shadow” she said. “It’s as if when ever I’m near you, I feel comfortable, and I forget everything” she continued. Shadow began to blush. “So, if I do this, it’ll make you, blush, right?” he asked as he turned her around and gently kissed her.
