Step by Step

It evidently was a sunny day, and Tails was feeling, a little too gloomy. It was a real drag for him, since he was working on a new invention, which wasn’t functioning properly. It was as if the machine just didn’t like Tails at all and decided to commit suicide by not working.

Tails couldn’t take it anymore. He couldn’t take the fact that it didn’t work. “I don’t understand” he said. “This is a special gift for Cream. How can it not work?”

All of a sudden, a knock was received at his door. “Tails…” she called from outside through the open window. “Cream?” the confused fox asked. Cream happily smiled. “Can I come in” she asked. “Sure, door’s open” Tails called from the garage.

Cream opened the door, closed it from behind and entered the garage, which was dark and gave a peculiar shiver down her spine. “Tails?” she asked. ‘Where could he be?’ she thought.

Tails quickly jumped from behind her, grabbing her from the waist and laughing. “I’m over here” he laughed out. She smiled and blushed. “I know” she mumbled loud enough for him to hear her.

She laughed and turned around, facing his shiny blue eyes. “Tails, what are you working on?” she asked the fox.  “Well, if you must know, I was working on a flower basket for you. Sadly, it doesn’t function yet, but it will step by step in the process” he said.

Cream saw the basket under the curtain and got it. She saw a flower basket, which to her was so pretty with it’s designs. She smiled and hugged Tails. “Thanks Tails, for the basket” the overjoyed rabbit said.

Tails blushed and said “Your welcome”.
